“ We came for lunch and got a lobster mountain meal for a table of 7. We got to hold the lobsters and take pictures before they cooked them. The lobster was tasty and on top a pile of fries (they changed it at some point because years ago I remember it was smelt). The other dishes were well done as well and it was an enjoyable meal. ”

“ Came back recently for a joint bday celebration. Fishman didn't sneakily jack up their prices to offset the 2 mnth tax-free break on food and services in contrast to their sister resto, Jumbo Lobster (which is surprising, given that they have the same owner). When I do come here w/ family, we usually opted to just go all in on lobster as we think it's the best bang-for-buck and also less effort to eat than crab. This time, the bday ppl insisted on going for some king crab and I gotta say, the maggi sauce prep for the crab big knuckles was *chefs kiss*. Service was pretty good. Don't think anything has changed from the last time I visited this place. Dessert is kinda disappointing though. Cubes of jelly pudding? And they were completely flavourless as well (not even subtle taste, just bland) which kinda puts a dampener on an otherwise great seafood meal. Bring back the dessert soups! They already use fries instead of the fried anchovies for the seafood tower bases. The sns pork is still the crispiest one I've ever had but this time, the ratios were a lil off (more fat than meat in each piece). Garlic beef tenderloin very tasty. Melt in your mouth beef chunks. Always a solid place for special occasions. Just prepare your wallet with wads of cash beforehand lol. ”

“ Loved it. I completely understand the hype now. I came over the holidays for a family reunion dinner, and it was a huge hit for both kids and adults alike! All of the dishes were delicious, especially the seafood. I highly recommend trying the lobster multiple ways. My family ordered one of the set menus, and we opted to serve the lobster course two-ways - so instead of it being just one huge fried mountain, we chose to split it into one smaller dish and a second garlicky steamed lobster with sweet potato noodles. Both were great. The fried lobster was addicting while the steamed lobster dish had a more "pure" lobster flavor. And although we split the lobster two-ways, both were still very generous portions and impressive sights when they got to the table. Overall, a great meal for a nice or special occasion. Reservations recommended and deposits were required around the Christmas holidays for us. ”

“ My family and came here during a recent trip to Toronto after many recommendations. We're a big seafood family so we were looking forward to this dinner. We made a reservation two weeks in advance to make sure we got a spot since we heard it gets very busy. It's very easy to order here as they have set dinners. We opted for the Lobster Mountain & King Crab Dinner, which was for 7-9 people ($688 CAD). The highlight was the Lobster Mountain in HK Style. The lobsters were cooked perfectly. Anyone who has prepared lobsters before knows how quickly they overcook. This dish had a perfect crust and was honestly the best lobster I've had. The Steamed King Crab was underwhelming as the flavor was a bit bland. The set menu also comes with a wine, which was nice. The service was great and I love that they let you quality check the lobster and crab by bringing them out before they are cooked. I also like that they do the conversion to USD for you. Also great experience that I will definitely try again if I'm back in Toronto! ”

“ This is a famous Cantonese seafood restaurant in Toronto that has been featured on many YouTube channels and even by Andrew Zimmern. We came here in March, in the midst of a snow storm, but we were determined to eat here. The ride here was dangerous but that did not stop us from eating delicious seafood. We ordered the three flavor lobster dinner which came with three different flavors of lobsters, soup, fried rice, fish and vegetables. The serving size is for 4-6 people and it was more than enough for the 4 of us. My favorite cooking styles of the lobster that I tried were the lobster with salted yolk and lobster with maggi sauce. Before they make the lobster, they bring the lobsters over to let us see what will be prepared. This reminds me of the restaurants in Hong Kong. The service was also amazing and attentive. They would change our plates when we fill it with the lobster shells. The restaurant is huge! I like how there are tanks throughout the restaurant with different live seafood. I was worried that we would have to wait to get seated, but we got probably got lucky because of the weather. If I ever visit Toronto again, I will definitely pay another visit. I want to try the large lobster mountain next time I visit! ”

“ This place has been on my bucket list for years and I knew that when I got the chance to go to Toronto, I had to try it. It was only the two of us so I knew there was one thing that was on the agenda, the lobster tower. More of a mini tower for us though. We did start off with an amazing chicken broth soup. It warmed us up and our pallet. They bring out the lobsters for you so you can gauge the size of the lobster. I think we ate with our eyes just being surrounded by hundreds of lobsters that we asked for a 4 lb lobster between the two of us. It was wayyyyyy too much, but no regrets. We probably only needed 2 pounds but we ended up taking it back and finishing the leftovers. We got noodles with it thinking we needed some kind of side dish, but be ready, the lobster tower is also filled with seasoned fries that contributes to your satiety. We would definitely come back when we're in Toronto again. ”

Double Crabs w/Ginger & Green Onion Fried Oyster w/Honey Pepper Sauce Diced Beef Tenderloin w/Dry Garlic Sweet & Sour Pork Steamed Double Bass Poached Snow Pea Tips w/Shredded Ham Fried Rice w/Lobster Roe Overall, big portions of deliciousness. Lobster mountain was flavorful and not hard to access the meaty parts. I was impressed with how tender and meaty the sweet and sour pork was. Steamed bass was executed perfectly. Fried rice had proper texture and taste. Only criticism I have is the snow pea tips needs more seasoning. No issues with service. Great spot for special occasions or to impress tourists craving Chinese food. ”

“ Say Less! First stop everytime I Land into Toronto, Canada. Can you tell it's my all time favorite restaurant? Advice! Try to book ahead or there's a wait. If you want to try most of their dish bring your whole family!! Walking into lobster and king crab heaven. Wall to wall the restaurant is filled with endless tanks full of the lovely sea creatures... Service was excellent... from the host to the wait staff they would cater to you to ensure you a great experience. The Lobster Mountain ... #10! The texture of the lobster meat was made to perfection. The flavoring and pairing with French fries goes together just so well. I'm just surprise how it's fried and the meat didn't dry out and it's very tender and juicy. The King Crab Tower ... #10! You just can't rate these plates because it's all out of this world! The right amount of flavors goes into this dish. The shell was so easy to take off and the meat stayed firm together. Bottom line my whole family thinks it's the best restaurant they ever ate at in their whole entire life. Kudos to Fishman Lobster Clubhouse! We will always be back once we are in Toronto! ”
